Imagine, Create, Lead!

Monday 13th July to Friday 17th July 2026 at Riverside Studios in Hout Bay, for 11-16 year old’s.

A facilitated festival experience for teenagers to explore leadership through creativity, courage, curiosity, and action.

We are raising teenagers in a world shaped by rapid change, technology, and futures we cannot fully predict.

In a world like this, information alone is no longer enough. Young people need creativity, adaptability, communication, courage, collaboration, problem solving, and self-leadership.

These are the skills of the future - and they are built through experience, curiosity, creativity, and connection. That is the heart of Lead and Create.

The world is changing -Young people need more than information.

Each day, participants move through five different interactive workshops designed to build creativity, confidence, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Through a mix of individual and group experiences, teenagers will explore new ideas, develop practical tools, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and learn through hands-on creative challenges.

Lead and Create is designed to help young people step beyond their comfort zones, try new things, build confidence, and discover new possibilities for themselves and the future.

Our Team

Dani Boden

Founder

After decades spent working in film, education, coaching, festivals, and youth mentorship, Dani has seen firsthand how many young people are searching for confidence, connection, creativity, and a deeper sense of purpose. From lecturing and mentoring young adults for over 13 years to directing large-scale festivals and transformational workshops, this festival is a natural evolution of the work she has been building for years - creating spaces where young people can step out of pressure and expectation, reconnect with themselves, and discover new ways of leading, creating, and belonging.

Nix Davies

After years working across art, education, coaching, and leadership, Nix has become passionate about helping people navigate creativity, change, and the unknown. Through her work as an artist, educator, creative process coach, and project manager, she has spent years creating spaces that build confidence, resilience, self-expression, and possibility.

This festival is a natural extension of that work - a space where young people can explore creativity not just as art, but as a way of thinking, collaborating, problem-solving, and designing their lives with courage and curiosity.
